We are in search of a Mining Engineer with 12 years of work
experience in polymetallic underground operations, of which, they have held the position of
Superintendent for at least 4 years.
The objective of the position is to plan, organize, direct, and
control work programs and projects related to operational and administrative activities
carried out by the company and/or contractors. Direct reporting to the Operations Manager.
REQUIREMENTS AND FUNCTIONS
- Licensed and Registered Mining Engineer.
- Responsible for ensuring the sustainability of the unit throughout its entire extent, based on the
preparation and execution of the OPEX.
- Evaluate and approve maintenance plans and annual monitoring of projects.
- Experience in mine preparation projects and contractor management.
- Knowledge and experience in short, medium, and long-term planning.
- Knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and regulations related to Industrial Safety, Environmental
Protection, and Occupational Hygiene.
- Knowledge in cost control, budget analysis, and development.
- Responsible, proactive, experienced in leading teams, excellent communication at all levels, sense
of urgency, and problem-solving ability.
- Availability to work on a 14 x 7 schedule.
